Last days of Lexington

Oh Lexington how I love and already miss you so. The last few weeks in Lexington was a complete whirlwind. Between working, packing, goodbye lunches/dinners, doctor appointments, Kyle's finals, and still recovering from stroke it was C-razy. Thank goodness for the help of my mom helping us out, Kyle's family helping us pack, and awesome friends who helped us with packing and more.

Here are just a few things I love about Lexington, Kentucky:
The thunder/rain storms, the abundance of green land/trees/etc, Southern Hospitality, and the most important, all the AWESOME friends we were able to make while living there.

Before we left, we had a family picnic at the arboretum:

I don't have pictures of my work friends but we did party it up the last week we were there. I'm going to miss Kurt, Joe, Kim M, Kim W, Katherine, Danna, Benny, Jeff, Angela, and Rachel. They are who made my job fun.

Jessi and I had a going away party with all of our girl friends from church at Cheddars and had a blast. I miss all of these girls so much!

We also grew very close with our neighbors Len and Lois and love them like family. They currently have Cash (our puppy) until we find a job/house. Right before we left we had a Derby Party at their place. Lois is sporting her Derby hat.
We also got close with our other neighbors Dennis and Darla, and Chris across the road. We had so many funny conversations with them.

It's sad to leave but know that it's the best thing for us. We miss all of you! Bye Ya'll!
